GVC and Ladbrokes is the Latest Gambling Industry Merger

The gambling industry is quickly evolving. And this huge merger involves GVC Holdings and Ladbrokes Coral. They are the latest in line of mergers that are happening since the year 2014 in the country. The UK gambling market has not seen a larger deal. Operators are trying to stay together and stay strong as more rules are being presented by regulators. Players on the other hand don’t let it bother them so much and are trying to find great deals on bonus codes and Titanbet Bonus Code 2018 is on their lists. It comes with a warming welcome of 100 Euros for newcomers.

What Happened?

This was not the first time GVC Holdings tried to take over Ladbrokes. The last time they tried it was the summer of 2017, but it all fell apart. It was only this year that shareholders on both sides agreed to approve the merger, for 6 billion pounds. It was concluded that no competition or outside forces were against the merger- it was complete.
The competition would still be strong as there are many online operators in the UK and many of them are strong enough to compete. GVC Holdings is an online-only operator, after all. Together with Ladbrokes they now have a strong land-based and online presence.

HVC is based on the Isle of Man, and for the local economy, this is great business. They will welcome the newly formed company with open arms as they have not seen a greater deal in their history. It will greatly improve the local market.

As GVC’s most important betting brand: bwin is active on Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Spain and Belgium markets. Bwin is an active sponsor of many football clubs across the whole of Europe. Other brands that GVC Holdings owns includes Sportingbet (established about 15 years ago and bought by CVC in 2012), Betboo (this company got started in 2005 and it is mainly focused on South American markets where it is present with its online bingo, casino, poker and sportsbook operations), Gamebookers (acquired by CVC in February 2016, it came with acquisition of bwin.party).

This giant also owns a few Games labels who are very successful and these include: PartyPoker (a company started in 2001 and during its early days it was the most popular poker website in the world. They merged with bwin in 2011 and was then bought by GVC in 2015), partycasino (founded in 2011, partycasino was GVC’s most popular casino brand right from the start), CasinoClub (it was launched in 2001 and quickly became interesting to GVC who acquired the company in 2004. More than 15,000 customers use this casino to get their gambling entertainment. Most of these players come from German-speaking markets), Gioco Digitale (launched on the Italian market during 2009, it is intended for casual gamers and it serves as their gaming portal), Cashcade (which is based in the UK and acquired by PartyGaming during July of 2009), Foxy Bingo (founded in 2005, owned by Cashcade) and last but not least: Foxy Casino (founded in 2015 and rebranded in 2017, bringing in Heather Graham as the face to represent this mighty casino brand).
